This solid leather hair barrette is handmade out of one piece of quality full-grain Italian cowhide, and is embossed with an Asian Dragon of our own design, inspired by my husband's time travelling in Japan, China, and Korea. It is available in nine colours and two sizes:
- The LARGE barrette is for thicker hair
- The SMALL barrette is for finer hair
The BLACK and BROWN barrettes are crafted from a softer leather that is drum-dyed, meaning that it is dyed-through for extra resilience against scratches. This also means that the inside is a finished, dyed surface. The other finishes of barrettes are crafted from a firmer leather that we cannot drum-dye, so they are nude and raw on the inside. If you have slippery hair, the nude, raw interior has more grip.
- NOTE - These barrettes are made to order, so please allow time for them to be crafted prior to shipping.
- NOTE - As leather is an organic material and the dyes we use are natural, the final colour of your barrette may vary somewhat from the photography, and may evolve with age.
